FIG Newsletter – August 2022

Dear Colleague,

The FIG General Assembly is getting closer. The first online session will take place on 4 September, and the other two sessions in Warsaw, Poland on 11 and 15 September and will include elections of the new President and two new Vice Presidents. Read the agenda. You can comment and ask questions to the agenda.
It is still possible to register and attend the Congress, either on-site in Warsaw Poland or online.

IMPORTANT - for Member Associations: All elections and voting will take place online. You must register your official representative now so that your association can vote - this has to be done through a google form. The official representative will receive all emails with voting sheets. It is therefore important that this representative is appointed now.

FIG council has been active with visits to both the UNGGIM meeting in New York, World Urban Forum in Poland, and a visit to Ghana for the preparations of the FIG Working Week 2024.
Also - remember to save the dates 28 May - 1 June 2023... Submission of abstracts will open soon
See you soon - either in Warsaw, or online!
