Time is ticking... for the submission of abstracts there is only one day left - secure your spot in the technical programme at FIG Congress 2026 before it is too late.
Time is also  ticking for the calls for nominations for President, two Vice Presidents and the host and destination of FIG Congress 2030.
Time truly is a curious thing. At Intergeo, time seemed to vanish while exploring and absorbing all impressions, new technologies and innovations, while talking with countless inspiring visitors and exhibitors. The time until the upcoming Congress seems long - but is actually just around the corner. And while 3,500 years might sound forever, that is the span covered in the History of Surveying collection.
In this issue of the newsletter, discover what is happening now, revisit the past and look ahead to future activities.
Don't wait - time won't!

FIG CONGRESS 2026 - SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

The overall theme of the congress is: The Future We Want - The SDGs and Beyond

The FIG Congress 2026 gives you as professional the opportunity to:

Learn and share globally – with participation from around 80-90 countries
Network across silos, cultures, generations, sectors and professional roles – with sessions and representation from the broad range of experts
Make an impact on careers, organizations and communities
Enjoy undisturbed on-site time to focus, concentrate, and collaborate

The SDGs will be central to all sessions, highlighting how surveyors work with and find solutions towards these goals and beyond. Surveyors must be heard as the next global development agenda for post-2030 is prepared in the next few years.
