(MAGPC)
Every year on March 21, MAGPC organizes an event to celebrate Global
Surveyors Day. In this years meeting session Mr.Khavalbolot the head of
department of Geology and Mining engineer school of "Mongolian National
university of science and Technology" and Ms.Munkhtsetseg the head of
Geodesy department of "Agency for land administration and management,
geodesy and cartography" were participated and presented about their
organization. Furthermore, representation of young surveyors made a
presentation about surveying works at Oyutolgoi underground mine, one of
the world’s largest Underground mine. After the networking event, the
darts and billiard games were held
5D World Ltd, Mongolia
In Mongolia, on the occasion of "GLOBAL SURVEYORS DAY" 2024, Mongolian
University of Science and Technology /MUST/ - School of Geology and
Mining /SGM/ and Geodesy Measurement and Mapping 5D WORLD Ltd.
collaborated to promote the geodesy profession to society.
Activities included:
- Introducing MUST 3rd and 4th year Geodesy students to the
organization's activities and survey equipment.
- Organizing a 5 km walk in Ulaanbaatar city, BZD 26 committee
/26th khoroo/, showcasing professional tools and equipment to
promote the geodesy profession and Global Surveyors Day.
- Hosting a meeting at the field named after geodetic engineers,
demonstrating the CHCNAV drone and VR i89GNSS equipment to students,
and capturing a commemorative photo.
Congratulations to our colleagues! Every creation starts with geodetic
measurement and overs with geodetic measurement.
